I became frustrated about how most of us live a predictable and formulaic life, rather than a more spontaneous and free one. I allowed my research to direct the project, leading me to the conclusion that routine living is inescapable. My concept was based around what the A Frame is used for on football boots: to provide support and confidence when taking chances. The A Frame sub brand would become a symbol of taking chances off the pitch. Lisa Henderson, Sarah Fox and I decided to create a poster for the graduating students of 2011, each student paid £2 to put their self portrait on the poster and receive one for themself. It was then screen printed and sent out to Africa so they could see the faces of everyone who had donated money.
